RECREATING MY SHOES 5/27/14

hey guys its been a long time since i blogged, i know, and i'm really sorry for that. i just wanna say thank you to all my followers and those who have been reading my blog and supporting it. So, for my latest Instagram picture on my converse shoes that i spray painted. Many people asked me how i did it, and they wanted to see more pics. so here are some pics: 

so this converse of mine, was actually black. but then the color started to fade away as i have been using it for quite some time now. my friends started saying "Eleanor where did you get your green converse? i have never seen that kind of green before" "omg eleanor i like you shoes, they are green!" haha they were not mocking me, they actually didn't know it was black. so i decided to add my own colors considering it has been so dull and worn our for quite awhile...

firstly i only used three colors: fluorescent pink, orange and yellow. (NIPPON SPRAY PAINT) you can find it in any art stores i think. i got mine beside Laselle. 

first, for the left shoe, i sprayed orange on the front of the shoe then slowly blended the sides. Then i sprayed yellow behind the shoe slowly joining it to the orange and overlap the colors to give it a mixed color.

i did the same thing for the right shoe, except i use pink and orange. 

i am currently customising shoes for people too, all you have to do, is give me a pair of your shoes that you want to be sprayed. You can pick the color of you choice too!

Blog dedication 1 4/6/14

Hey guys! This is my first blog dedication. I will be dedicating a blogpost sharing other people's stories. which are my friends or those people who come to me for advices and help. This first dedication is for my friend, Ashley Tan, she has been one of my good friends for a long time. She has just turned 15 last month. She has been going through so much lately, and i think she deserves this blog post. As usual, its always about bullies. But her case is different, because of bullies, she has changed her school. (1 time)

In her previous school, there were always cliques and without cliques, you are classified as a total loser. Whats worse, losers are not allowed to hang out with any other losers. If  they do, they would be severely bullied among all the cliques. Each clique would represent different qualities, example there were the girls volleyball cliques, the pretty girls clique etc... i have never heard of such a messed up school ever! Ashley, because she is brave and confident, she went against the "clique rules" she hung out with all the "losers" and became great friends with all of them. Then they made a clique of their own called "Proud losers". Then, all the 'popular' cliques started to bomb them using social media and their trashy mouths. At first it didn't affect them because they all had each others back, but slowly, it all changed. There were backstabbing and everyone were going against each other, who did it all started? it was because the popular cliques started changing the gameplan. They started being very nice to some people in the loser clique and told them bad stuff about the other losers, which made everyone misunderstood everyone. Ashley was the one who was most misunderstood, even her best friend, Elana, turned against her. How would you feel like if everyday when you got to school, devil eyes are always on you? And everywhere you go there will be people talking bad about you, everything you did or do will always seem or be wrong. Apparently, Elana still cared for Ashley, she wanted very much to still be her friend, but if she did, her life would be ruined by the popular girls, as they know many secrets of hers, that cannot and must not be exposed. All the stress and depressing feelings that everyone was giving Ashley, was so bad that Ashley got into depression, luckily it was not so severe, she had to take daily medication and she could not sleep well at night. Last year, she finally made up her mind, and she told herself not to waste anymore time of her life. "There was no point in mourning over people who won't come back to your life. Besides, everyones giving me a hard time, what for stay?" this was what Ashley said, before she left the school. She is the strongest and bravest girl i have ever met. She had to put aside all her personal feelings and she concentrated on her studies instead. She started her new life in her new school, whom everyone welcomed her and loved her. BEST PART: the school did not classify people into cliques or groups. everyone was friends with everyone. She is happy and she have many new friends! Have a blessed life ahead Ashley, you are amazing no matter what you say or do. Always here for you.

Relax 1/6/14

Heyyo, so i have received many compliments and comments on my art pieces! thank you for all the comments! Usually when i'm bored, or when i have something on my mind. i would usually doodle or sketch. Its actually also a very good, therapeutic method to calm yourself down when you are feeling angry, anxious, sad etc etc...
As for me, i would usually draw eyes or hands, usually human features or something i feel like drawing. Because i am not very good in sketches, i would usually refer to some google pictures to help me. I am also not very good in drawing/painting realism or still life. But i'm doing my best to improve hehe. here are some of the sketches i drew when i was bored: 

I don't know why but i love to draw eyes. i have seen many people who can draw so many different type of beautiful and realistic eyes. I would always refer to the photos and try to draw them too. I really improved since the first time i tried drawing an eye. the first eye i drew looked like a fly the got stuck in a dirty bowl. hahaha. this is a very short blog post but i just to show and answer all the people who keep asking what i always do when i'm bored. Other then art, i like doing all the social stuff too haha, example, twitter, Facebook, instagram etc etc

Some of my art piece

Hey guys! So i know many of you guys have not seen my art pieces before. I don't really show people because i don't like the idea of someone copying my art. but i am okay with it now. i took an hour trying to take pictures of the art pieces. then downloading it to my computer. Finding and taking the perfect pictures is not that easy! i worship those professional photographers. 
Here is one of my favourite piece of art that took me 3 weeks to finish: 
Name: The Lost Time
Colours used: Metallic green, metallic blu, black white.
Mediums: texture paste, metal clock arrow, Acrylic, silver earrings, diamond and pearl stickers, clock numbers, clay (to make the dolphins, and leaves.) , lastly, metal chains. 

The next one:
Name: Baby
Colours: Emerald green + white, Pure red, coeruleum hue blue, warm yellow, titanium white.
Mediums: Acrylic

The next one
Name: underneath secrets 
Colours used: Process magenta pink, violet, purple, blue, black, green, warm yellow, orange 
Mediums: water colour and black 0.38 Signo pen. 
(painted on watercolour paper.)

The next one
Name: Ironic Clown 
Colours used: Leaf + dirty green, warm yellow, pure red, black, titanium white, coeruleum hue blue, prussian blue, violet
Mediums: acrylic

The next one was painted before the "Ironic Clown"

so it looks abit weird and un practiced. but i like the colour combinations. 

Name: Don't Cry Clown

Colours used: Pure red, burnt brown, titanium white, coeruleum hue blue, prussian blue, black 

Mediums: acrylic

The next one

Name: inner beauty 

colours used: violet, prussian blue, black, purple, a little magenta pink.

mediums: watercolours and signo black pen.

drawn and painted on water colour paper. 

The next one took me week to do, because the canvas is really really huge. 

colours used: fluorescent pink, yellow, orange and green 

mediums used: spray paint and different types of black pen. 

because its on a canvas, the pen tip would spoil and wear off over time, so i had to keep changing pens.

Colours used: ombre brown, burnt brown, pure red, black, process magenta pink, titanium white.

Mediums: acrylic 

Although some of the above pieces are a little weird or you might see pencil marks, its mostly because they are my first try in each. but i love them a lot, hehe. 
for art, i love to create different impressions on people. the quote "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" inspires me alot. example the "ironic clown" many people can think up of different things/reasons &amp; feelings of why it is crying. 
Many people think art is just drawing and painting what you like and what you want, but really, we need to study art too. here are some photos of my sketchbook/ art book:

most of the time, i would write how the piece of art was created, what i should do to improve, colours i used, mediums and all the research. haha
